Banpu applies the Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework to measure the impact of community engagement efforts. To date, we have evaluated 7 community development programs across 4 mine sites in Indonesia. In addition, a “Maturity Measurement” approach is applied to assess the sustainability of these programs across 6 dimensions: change, inclusion, organization, cooperation, influence, and sustainability.
